GP - December Newsletter

This month we finished up two more units, one on independent learning skills and the other on communication skills. The students worked on activities to help them practice these skills. When we get back from winter break, students will begin their independent research paper. There are eight topics that the students can choose from when writing their individual paper: belief systems, biodiversity and ecosystem loss, changing communities, digital world, family, humans and other species, sustainable living, and trade and aid. Once students choose a topic they will then focus on a specific research question that will allow them to research and write a 1500-2000 word paper.
