In Grade 9 music students have started working on an Ensemble guitar
project, where they are combining Finger Style technique and chord strumming to
play various songs. Students have chosen
their songs and started to practice them.
We will perform in an in-class recital next month.
Students are very excited for the upcoming Talent Quest, and I’d
like to share some of the details with you.
As a reminder, this Wednesday is the last day to sign up for auditions,
and the audition schedule will be emailed to you shortly thereafter. For the students’ audition, we only require
them to have completed the first 60 seconds of their act. Also, please help your children to make
hard-copies of their music if they are using a backing track, as Youtube links
are not allowed. Good luck to everyone
